With the biggest sports event of the year coming up in Russia this summer, Scott has added a little touch of cycling to the FIFA World Cup. Or let’s say to one of the main protagonists.
Brazil’s mega star Neymar is still recovering from a broken metatarsal sustained late last February. With less than a month to go until the games begin, his recovery process is full on.
To help Scott has provided him a personalized bike on his way back to the pitch. To get back his fitness, Neymar currently is riding a bike for his rehab at least an hour per day, says Scott.
David Fernandez, a Mitchelton-Scott mechanic presented Neymar the customized Foil disc in Paris. The bike is covered in Brazilian colors and shows some personal details. Neymar’s tattoo ‘family forever’ is both on the top tube and down tube. It also has his personal logo and that of the Brazilian soccer federation.
Neymar said he was aware of the success of Simon Yates and Esteban Chaves at the Giro d’Italia and happily posed with the team jersey of Mitchelton-Scott to wish them the best of luck for the rest of the race.

In order to minimize air drag and to optimize performance in cross winds the fork is made using a one-piece construction that allows for light weight with increased stiffness.
