Check out Sage Titanium’s new Storm King monster cross

Storm King is a rock-gobbling animal designed for the long haul

Sage Titaniums unveils the Storm King

Sage Bicycles is a company based in Beaverton, Oregon, and offers custom and semi-custom titanium bikes. Recently Sage released a jaw-droppingly stunning, made in the USA drop-bar rig, aptly named the Storm King. The Storm King, which is named after a singletrack trail just west of Bend, Oregon, that Sage employes and other Bend riders call home. The Storm King is said to have a different ride feel than its Barlow gravel bike. This ride feel could be from the 700C x 50mm or 650 x 2.4″ tires clearance and geometry suited for rougher terrain.

The Storm King is designed to fuel exploration, taking riders deeper and more remote with every pedal stroke. Sage feels the Storm King is no one-trick-pony, and as such, is not solely designed for the bike packer or the racer. Storm King is a rock-gobbling animal with geometry to keep the rider more comfortable for long days over more technical terrain than what you might find at a gravel road race.

The Storm King touts three bottle cages, rack mounts front and rear, and bosses for bolt-on frame bags. All that, plus internal cable routing for the rear brake and dropper post, giving you more space for a big frame bag and keeping straps off your rideable work of art.
