There were a few new Colnago bicycles on display at the Sea Otter Classic but it was the C60 Anniversary Edition that caught our eye. This is a limited run of 60 that were built last year. It is a C60 with upgraded brakes and a few other highlights.

The lugged carbon construction itself is very unique and the brakes are custom made for Colnago by a Norcal company called The Hive. Mountain bikers will recognize the brand, as they specialize in many different trail-oriented components and parts. The brakes are direct mount, like Colnago uses on their V1-r model (minus the V1-r rear brake placement). Despite what the name plate implies, the only titanium part on this bike is the anniversary plate itself.

The Anniversary Edition is a limited run of 60 bikes and Colnago USA actually has 3 left for sale. If you’ve got the means, this bike will run you $16,000 with Campagnolo Super Record gruppo, Selle San Marco Colnago carbon saddle, Campy Bora carbon wheels and even includes a custom carbon chain catcher.

Love my Collage. Hmmm, all that and no electronic shifting?

Love my C59. That C60 does look awesome, but I’m not 29 and can’t put out the power to justify the stiffness of that downtube which probably comes with a stiffness penalty.
