Top stage 5 honors went to German Andre Greipel, who launched a ferocious sprint to handily capture his second stage win of the 2016 race. But the larger storyline continues to be the sheer amount of carnage at this year’s race. Once again a multitude of crashes left numerous riders bruised, bashed, or worse.
