Brumotti was inspired by Martyn Ashton’s video Road Bike Party 1.
Martyn followed on with Road Bike Party 2 even despite massive setbacks. Martyn suffered a devastating injury during one of his appearances and he was paralyzed from the waist down. But a couple of friends named Danny MacAskill and Chris Akrigg came to his aid and helped him finish the film.
