The man. The myth. It’s Mr. Ghibli.

The man. The myth. It’s Mr. Ghibli.

In a day and age where so much of the world’s high-end bicycles and components are made in Asia and cynicism about outsourcing runs rampant, you can still find a place where old-world craftsmanship and high-tech engineering collide. Much like Willy Wonka and his Chocolate Factory, it is the people inside the walls at Italian component maker Campagnolo that make it such a special place. The artisans who occupy the main factory in Vicenza are just one of the ways Campagnolo maintains the quality and integrity of its products. Campagnolo prides itself in producing everything under its own roof thanks to its passionate and competent staff. Follow master craftsman “Mr. Ghibli” and watch as he constructs one of Campy’s most famous wheels. We are glad to see that there are still places left where hand-made continues to mean something.

Old-World craftsmanship meets cutting edge technology.
