Can someone enlighten me on whether there's a left/right side to 06 Eurus front? The hub is different in that there's a "lock ring" on one side but not the other. If I use the rear as a reference, the lock ring should be on the left, however, Campy's instruction illustration and photos on their web site is somewhat ambiguous and *appears* to show the opposite.

No difference whatsoever, use it as you like.

It does not matter how it is installed in the bike, but the left side is the one with the adjuster sleeve, the right side is fixed, similar to how the the rear is set up with the adjuster sleeve on the left / non-drive side.
