All modern 10 speed chains are now the same 5.9mm width, so that's not a problem. Each brand will have a slightly different shape and chamfering of the outer plates, which is supposed to enchance shifting and make the chain run quieter.
Campy chains do not come with a connector link. They have a special HD-L joining pin that requires either the Campy tool or other special measures with a Park chain tool, to install the pin successfully. Drape the chain over the BB shell to eliminate all tension on the chain and install the pin from the left side. See Park Tool's repair instructions for more info.
If you want to use a connecting link, a Wipperman connex 10S1 (shimano compatible) link will fit, as will a SRAM 10 powerloc or Forster Superlink, model 4.
