Is there any difference between 105 and Tiagra brake sets other than weight (and maybe pad material)?

When I got my new bike (Rival brakes) I noticed they were a damn sight better than the Tiagra's right away. So I was thinking of swapping the Tiagra's out with 105's (since everything else on the bike is 105) although I might just throw some Rival's on it since I know I like them.

Thanks for the suggestions. I ended up just picking up some 105 brakes on ebay for $25 more than the Kool stop pads with holders would have cost me, so it seemed like the way to go.
