Other than the tight corners in crits and riding fast in to corners what are the pros and cons of the different lengths.I was looking in to some fsa cranks and was wondering about this before I get a new set.Does it really matter that much?

Yes

Crankarm length is related to your femur length. Generally speaking X femur length will put you in a range of desired length, say 170-172.5. However, you can go outside of your range for certain disciplines, ie time trials (longer cranks, slower rpms) or track (shorter cranks, higher rpms)
