I bought the bike while working at the US Embassy in Moscow from 89-93. I trained at the Moscow Velodrome and rode with the Soviet and Russian team while they were in training. The economy was difficult at best and I bought two team bikes from the coaches One track bike and the other this Colnago Master. I did upgrade the components a few times since 1992. I just had the bike restored and hope someone will enjoy riding it as much as I have .

The problem is you are asking legendary pro bike money for something with its share of problems:

The new paint job is wrong. Decals while mostly correct (if it weren't for the mix of Master Piu and Master Olympic) are in the wrong place/on the wrong tube.
You substituted with a more or less modern wheel set, which means no Record hubs/cassette/quick releases.
Ditto the brakes, those would have either been the Deltas, Cobaltos, or Monoplaners instead of what judging by the adjusters are, lower tier brakes (thinking Mirage or Veloce here)
Seat post should have been a C-Record or Record Dart, but on the bike is something cheap and Kalloy-ey.

The early 90s were when the Master transitioned from the Master (Piu) to the Master Olympic. I kinda wonder if the guy didn't sell you an Olympic model as an Olympic team bike either because something got lost in translation or on purpose.

And the number tab is where you fix your race number to the bike

In my eyes you are asking 7.5 K for a 2 K bike.

edit: I don't know why I called it that, it's Dove Hywy or Sonora Desert Hywy.

I was on an empty road, six foot into the 7’ wide bike lane before sunrise but light. I had light, blinker and reflective clothes. I was struck by the mirror of an F150 at 60mph. The woman was a Nurse Practitioner and did not get out of truck to see if I was alive. She knocked me 30’ over the handlebars and broke shoulder and cracked my helmet in half. Fifty years of riding was fun, but I want to enjoy the rest of my life with my family. People are more interested in their phones than safe driving

Before sun crested mountain and she had to drive five feet over bike lane stripe to hit me. Road was empty. It was her on a phone

That is horrible Greg. I am glad you are ok. Did anything happen (legally) to this driver? It's insane how people don't seen to give a sh!t about others. So obviously you know who she is, etc. If she didn't stop, how did you find out? I hope you sued the hell out of her. Please let us know.

She did stop and sent her grand daughter back to see if I was alive. She was ticketed for failure to maintain a lane
I will never ride a bike again because of distracted drivers.
