Hello,

I recently found a 1993 Trek 5200 for sale on Facebook. It looks to be in pretty good condition, and has been (supposedly) kept in the persons basement. The seller went down from an absurd $650 to $250.

Here are my questions.

1. Is it worth considering buying, due to it's age, and also at the price.
2. Also because of it's age, could this be ridden on longish rides.
3. Is there anything to be concerned with, like the glued joints coming apart if it was ridden.
4. How upgradable is this?

Here are some photos of the bike

Update, after conversing back and forth. The seller said "he changed his mind" and wanted $300. He was also extremely rude. So I decided to not consider purchasing the Trek 5200.
