is this bike any good? I saw that the wheels are smaller than current wheels... does that make getting tires tough or can I just change the wheel set to a 26 inch set? It appears to have decent components...

Even 26 is not normal. That is mountain bike size. 700 cm. is the norm. Unless you are some sort of Cdale collector I would pass on that thing.

Run from that. I have a cherry R300 from that year and I know what bikes in that series should look like. By the time you pay shipping, you're spending way more than it's worth. Bike looks very used to me and I think it was fixed up with whatever he could find just to sell it.
