I was needing a light. I had 2 old Niterider pro-6 sitting around. I made one of them into a 12v 3W luxeon LED. It puts out the light. Better than the original 10W halogen. Bulb is a MR-16, the Niterider was a MR-11. A little ABS and a Dremel made it fit.

Good idea. I had a digital pro that I bought back in 1996 and used up until the Spring of last year. Besides one burnt out bulb, the only issue that I had was with the internal wiring on the backside of the plug. Seemed to be a bad design. The battery finally quit after nine years and although I could have replaced it, it was an excellent excuse to go HID. I love my HID.
