I have the opportunity to purchase a 1999 Litespeed Tucscany. No idea how many total miles but do know it hasn't been ridden since 2003 (was buried in a garage).

No obvious damage to the frame.

Components are DA but pretty old and mangy looking.

Really just asking about the value of the frame/fork.

Any suggestions what a fair price would be?

I don't know if this helps, but my new Tuscany with Ultegra was about $2700-2800 in 2000. Figure a few hundred more for DA. Rough rule of thumb is about half of new for something used but still in decent shape. Items that are like new, high end, or are in demand, like Ti frames, Chris King components, or sometimes carbon or other weight-weenie bits can fetch a better ratio.

My 1999 Tuscany with Look fork, a Chorus Triple group, no saddle or pedals, was $2,600. Hope that helps. It is a fabulous century bike.
