Very interested in this frame for adventure biking (long-ass mixed road/dirt rides) because my understanding is it will fit the 700x45-ish tires I want to run. Unfortunately my only info is from cyclingnews.com too. Might have to contact V D directly and ask them.

If you really want to know now, call them. VD is very slow with email communication.

I bought a Straight Up 7 frame last year for a winter/rain bike project. I'd buy from them again but don't expect rapid email response.
