I bought this frame, fork and headset new on eBay for $1800. I just got done building it up and taking it out for a 24 mile Test Ride.

Here are the specs:

2009 Van Dessel Rivet
2009 SRAM Red Group
2009 Feather Brakes
2009 Edge Composite 45mm Carbon Clincher
2009 San Marco SKN saddle
2009 Michelin Pro3 Tires
2009 Controltech Full Carbon Seatpost
2009 Controltech Carbon Cages
2009 3T Ergosium Team Full Carbon Handlebar
2009 3T ARX-TEAM Stem
2009 Speedplay Zero Ti Pedals White

Total Bike Weight as Listed: 14.8 lbs.

I have to tell you that Van Dessel continues to impress me. I bought a Country Bob Single Speed last year and loved riding it. So when I saw this frame up in my size, I had to have it. I must say that the bike feels very light when climbing. The BB is stiff and the front end even stiffer. I hope you guys like it. I will be taking it out for an 80 mile ride this Saturday. I can't wait.

Super classy build. well thought out, and looks stunning. Look forward to hearing a ride report, and more about the wheels!

hey master2129, i remember seeing in another thread..the Isaac Impulse, also a beautiful bike. How would you compare that to the Van Dessel? Which one would be your race bike?

I've got one too . Picked mine up on ebay as a demo sale for $999 frame/fork (basically getting the frame for ~$500 with brand new ENVE 2.0 fork) and built it up with 12' SRAM group. At 190lbs, I can plod the cranks and it lays the power down comparably w/o the rear wheel skip my aluminum frame bikes exhibit. Perfect combo of stiffness while muting the chatter. The tapered 1.5'' HT makes for a super stiff front end and laser like handling even at my weight. Granted I don't have a lot of experience with carbon bikes so take that with a grain of salt but this bike rocks no doubt.

I don't have a Rivet, but I DO have a Full Tilt Boogie. That bike is a rocketship!

Sweeeeet.
Greatbikes...we have sold a few in Canada but I wish we sold more.
Edwin and the gang are such cool dudes putting out killer bikes at awesome prices...if only people knew the U.S. suppliers they could be using as alternatives to the handful of gigantic companies.
