$599 road bike, does anyone know anything about this bicycle? Is it an okay entry level's road bike? Thanks.

I know the 2010 Raleigh Grand Sport . We bought one for my fiance and ( if it fits ) I'd have to say it's the best value in entry level road bikes . It realy is sweet . Here's a pic of our bikes in Fla.

I've got an 07 Grand Sport and I love it.

It's the entry-level Raleigh road bike -- nice aluminum frame, Shimano 2300 8-speed components.

Bumping up to the Grand Sport gets you from a steel to a carbon fork, and from a triple, to an FSA compact double. The frames are identical between the two.

We paid between $600 and $700 . I went back to the same shop and test rode one for myself but it didn't fit me well . I think I rode the wrong size . It really is a sweet ride,and it's nice looking too .
