I'm having a hard time finding a definitive answer on this one. I may buy a set of 2013 Aeolus 3s. They were sold in 2013 as part of a Madone - a very nice Madone, albeit a 10-speed.

Are these hubs the typical 10/11-speed, where ya just delete the spacer and the 11-speed cassette works? Or, would a new hub body be needed?

Thanks!

I believe those have DT Swiss internals, but from 2013 they probably have a 10 speed freehub. They can be converted to 11 speed with a DT Swiss 11 speed freehub for the DT Swiss 350 or 240 hub. The conversion includes an end cap for 11 speed. The end cap AND the freehub will be marked 11 speed.
