I've heard the rumor that for 2013 Campy has redesigned some if its rims to make it easier to mount tires. I'm sure they haven't changed all their rims, but maybe some selected wheels? I'm particularly interested in the 2013 Shamal Ultras.

I have no idea whether the rumor is true or false, but Campy has had this reputation for 15 years. Why would they change now?

I'm not sure if Fulcrum wheels have the same rep as Campy's branded wheels, but tires mounted really easily on my 2013 Fulcrum Racing 5s. I can't say the same for my 2007 Campy Protons which are very difficult to mount.
