Not really a shocker with him being 96 years old but Watership Down has been on my list of personal favorite books since I was a young lad. Rest in peace Richard Adams.

did you read it as a youth or do you just really love rabbits?

I read it as a youth. I read it again when I was older. And I read it again just a couple years ago. Kinda got my perspective on it at different ages. I'm not sure if I enjoyed it less when I was older or if it's just because I'd already read it. But I still enjoyed it, just not as much. As for rabbits, fried rabbit, rabbit stew, rabbit gumbo, rabbit fricassee and of course... "Cook! Where's my Hasenpfeffer?!"

good answer.

i'm not real fond of rabbit. i had it the only time i visited napa, and it
felt sorta decadent.

as for watership down, i read it way too late in life.

every once in a great while, i'll see a rabbit here in the city, hippity hoppity, either at the park or along the trail, and it always makes me smile.

I'm thinking celebrities just hold on until the end of the year to get the most air time ...

Not sure I understanding all this. It's bad if she dies in 2016 but fine if she goes in 2017 or 2018? Years are not vindictive or greedy. They aren't even a thing

We greatly appreciate you clearing that up for us. We were actually under the misapprehension that 2016 was a physical being and selectively and intentionally targeting popular celebrities for extermination. It is a great relief to know that we were mistaken. Thank you for setting us on the proper path O Literal One.

So 2016 is not stalking Betty White? I wish I knew that before I sent $100 to that Go Fund Me site

Their playing a little "Fast and Loose" with that photo. Lemmy died in 2015.
Good catch. I hadn't even thought about that. I was just thinking "wow, that's a lot of celebrities this year"... and it's just a small part of that list posted above. But you're right, Lemmy is stretching it by a few days.
