I think I know the answer but thought I better check to be sure. My wife just got a NOS Terry Classic and wants to use the 3T Ergonova bars from her Felt F85 on it. The Terry has a quill stem and the clamp is only 25.4mm. Does anyone make a quill stem for 31.8mm bars? I've searched but haven't found one. It looks like I need to get a threaded to threadless adapter plus a stem. I measured the diameter of the stem and it was 0.875" which works out to be 22.2mm. Does that mean I need a 1" threaded to 1-1/8" threadless?

To go 31.8 you will need a quill stem adapter and an OS (31.8) stem.

I have one. I got it off of Ebay a few years ago. They are rare. The logo on the stem is "HL".

Looks like one of those (kinda fugly) Profile stems.
