When I tried putting my Thule bike rack in the trailer hitch of my SUV, it fits but it's wobbly. I measured the dimensions of each. The trailer hitch receiver is 53mm (ie a square 50mm each side), and the Thule bike rack is 50mm. So the fit is not tight at all. The bike rack can wobble quite a bit inside the trailer hitch. So there's 3mm of space that must be addressed. Is there a sleeve of some sort that I can buy in order to fix this issue?

When you tighten the hitch retainer bolt down it will pull it to one side and it will be snug. 3mm gap sound pretty big, but there is a bit of a gap I know, that's why that retainer pin is threaded.

I don't know where you could find such a thing, but if you maybe could make a 2-3mm shim out of something.

+1. There's always a good bit of slop in the trailer hitch fit, but when you tighten down the hitch pin bolt it will be completely snug and rattle free.
