I weighted 175 this morning. Five more (well six actually) to go to break into the 160's. Last year before I started riding I weighed 213. I haven't been in the 160s since high school/the Marine Corps in the late 70s early 80s.

Way to go

I only have 22 more to go to get to my target of 180. I would have to say that over the last two years cycliing has helped me shed 37 pounds. This year I'm trying to train to be able to race crits next season and feel pretty confident that I will be faster and stronger after this last 22 pounds comes off, of course I'll probably be the only 52 year old cat 5, but hey you got to start somewhere.

I spun my brains out at the Y over the winter to keep some of the weight of but that stretch from Thanksgiving to Christmas did me in and I put 10 pounds back on.
