I'm thinking of riding this one. Anyone else interested? I'm thinking do the ride then hit up the Flying Saucer & pretend I'm a bike messenger.

Starts at The Downtown Aquarium

Join us for the first annual Houston Police Foundation Moonlight Classic Bike Ride! This two-hour recreational ride is for cyclists of all ages and abilities, on a traffic-free course stretching 5 to 35 miles on Memorial Drive. Slower riders will keep to the right, and faster riders will keep to the left. No motorized traffic will be allowed on the course.

The journey starts at the Downtown Aquarium. You will head west on Memorial Drive to Shepherd returning east on Memorial Drive back to the Downtown Aquarium. Enjoy music, snacks, and rides, including the Diving Bell Ferris Wheel, Carousel, and Shark Voyage (FREE to registered riders wearing their wristband) at the post-ride festival.

No... it looks like registration is $35 day of the event, ie, today.

I haven't registered. I'm still up in the air as to whether or not I'll ride it & if I do I might not bother to actually "register".
