I think I'm gonna disagree on Sheldon's recommendation that you don't need an axle. IME you do need a slightly longer axle with the new spacing.

To the OP:
If you're keeping the wheels, go for it. If not, don't bother. There's great deals to be had on ebay on new-ish tubulars with the right spacing.
