Has anyone EVER tried these? Man, $800.00 for shoes!!! I would imagine these must be the most expensive bike shoes on the market.

amazing. a custom titanium bike isn't that much more expensive than an off-the-shelf one (e.g., an LS Vortex frameset is around $3500, a Seven Alta is around $3200). yet, LUST's shoes are more than twice the price of the Sidi Ergo 1s in the US.

They should make your legs move for that price!

For $800, I would expect some kind of electrical impulse device that would make your feet and legs move. Do you have to charge them each night before you use them, or would they certainly be solar or wind powered?

I'm curious to know what the most expensive shoes cost that aren't custom.

He makes carbon inline speed skates also. They are extremely expensive($2K over 5 years ago). The people that owned them swore by them.

well ... Rocket 7's shoes are also pretty darn expensive ($359 for non-custom, $399 for "superstock"). Sidi Ergo 1 carbons are $399 from Colorado Cyclist but can be had cheaper from overseas.
to be brutally honest, I am considering buying a pair of Rocket 7s, despite knowing that it would be an act of borderline madness.

If I remember right, Carl Sundquist (former US Olympian) used to have a pair of these. I used to race against him as he's from South Florida and I seem to remember he had a pair of these shoes. I don't know if they made him faster or not, but he sure was fast!
