There really isn't much elevation. The largest thing within 20 miles is a 800ft hill that lasts about 1.5 miles. Still was kind of stout going up that thing.

With respect to originality, the bike originally had a black 3T saddle, black housing, and black leather covers w/ gum brake hoods according to the catalog on Bulgier.

My 1980 Bianchi Rekord 748 came with 52/42 and 13-19 six speed freewheel. I rode that all over the Sierra mountains, and just thought that was what you did. Still have it. Of course, I was about 40 pounds lighter back in 1980, too.
