once a year, we get hit at the shop...last year it was a Madone, today it was a 928 C2C carbon bike. :cryin: :mad2:

A customer saw a guy hustling down an alleyway with the bike, no pedals, and called us saying he was trying to catch him or at least track him. Police called, report filed, etc.

Anyone in Evanston or Northside Chicago coming across this bike please contact Turin Bicycle, 847-864-7660.

Rollo;

Sorry to hear about your loss.

Keep checking out ebay as I have seen some a couple of listings for some unbelievably low prices for "brand new" 928 C2C.

Regards

That's horrible. Also keep an eye on Craigslist. It's a safe bet that whoever stole it isn't planning on riding it.

One of the local shops keeps their high value bikes locked with a long cable. It won't stop a determined thief, but might put off onto the lower value bikes kept nearer the doors.
