I find it varies between about 3-6 months depending on sealant, conditions, and tire. Easy to check w/ the spoke/dipstick method. Remove the valve core, put the stem at the bottom of the tire, use the spoke to check for a puddle of sealant. If it's semi opaque you're good. If it looks like water you should probably add some. If it's dry, you definitely need to add some.

As CX said, it depends on a lot.
It's super easy to regularly check with a dipstick. I use Orange Seal. Some of their bottles come with a dipstick. It's serrated (you can use a zip tie too). So it catches the sealant. Great if you have poor eyesight.

I've had great success with Orange Seal Endurance. I can go 6 months with it. Sometimes need to top it off a bit.

Sounds like I am overdue. Haven't added any since July last year

Information's what? Remember this as well:
One post and the guy is banned already. I don't know what country's flag that is. Since content is obviously not what got him banned, there must have been some security issue.

This might help you:

It never ceases to amaze me. I may not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but somehow I managed to learn middle school grammar.

Road bike? Don’t do it unless you live in goathead country.
Do it!
I've been tubeless over 7 years. 25mm tires. Somewheres around 30,000mi.
Not one single flat.

I'll never go back to tubes!

I'm still conflicted. Can't figure out why...

@ogre Yes, road bike. 25c tires. No goatheads just the occasional broken glass on the road.
@tlg How are the roads you ride on: smooth, potholey, etc?

I've had 4 flats in the last 2 years around here. Two were on 23c tires, both due to the rim tape. The other two were simultaneous on 25c tires when I failed to avoid the edge of a potcanyon mid-lane. Since then I've learned better maintenance, watching the road surface, and hopping.
I weigh >200lb so I'm running about 92psi with tubes.

I live in PA. Our roads are shitty. Hopping potholes is my specialty. But sometimes they still get ya.
And I ride year round.
I'm 165lbs. I run ~65-70lbs front and ~70-80lbs rear on 25c's.

You should go 28mm if you can.

I do not plan to go tubeless on my road bikes. I don't get many flats on the road and tubeless won't save you from the issues you had.
