Got some SLs on Ebay (like new, came with all tools). They seem to have quite a bit of drag when spun on the bike (off the ground). They slow down much quicker than my old 540's.

What is the procedure for adjusting the tension on the hub/wheel bearings?
How tight do you guys set the quick release lever?

-thanks

Interesting- I have about 7000 miles on mine and haven't touched them for anything. An unloaded bike is not a good example for drag- IMHO. Do they spin freely? Presuming the bearings are not trashed, Ks are a bit tighter than other wheelsets. I can adjust ancient old-school bearings to spin forever, but they require constant maintenance (and aren't worth it in nasty weather).

I would recheck your QRs before messing with them- presuming they are like new. Can you feel any play in the bearings?
