Just got a new bike that came with a 175mm Sram Force crank with 53/39 chainrings. It was custom built in Taiwan with what was available. I wanted a compact 50/34, but could not find one.

Question: Can I buy the 50 and 34 chainrings and change them out instead of replacing the entire crank? I see them for sale in the US but don't know if they are interchangeable.

Thanks!

Sorry, they are not interchangeable. You have a 130 bolt circle diameter, the compact is 110 BCD.

You can get other rings for what you have, but the smallest inner that will fit is 38t.

I wouldn't exactly call that 'custom'...
