what happend to this company? Can you still get the Airborne 6-4 Titanium Skewers somewhere? Im in the market for new skewers and cant find them anywhere.

Salsa makes excellent titanium skewers. Just get those. They are widely available in several colors and high quality. Airborne went bankrupt or restructured or something like that and their bikes no longer seem to be available, at least not new.

Airborne became Flyte which then went out of business. Do a forum search for "Flyte" and you'll probably find some info.

Salsa makes good stuff, check them out.

Ti skewers

Just remember that Ti skewers have a well-deserved reputation for not being able to apply enough force to keep rear wheels in place with horizontal dropouts. Ti has quite a bit more elongation than steel.

Van Nicholas is the successor to Flyte and Airborne. I have no idea if they have the skewers. I'd just get KCNCs or Omnis.
