I had a slight fall trying to help my son (sans clipping out).

The bike fell sideways and hit the ground and caused a slight abrasion on the seat cover.

What is the best way to cover it or patch it. I heard some mention duct tape, etc. but I'm looking for your thoughts.

or clear silicone or take the seat to a furniture guy who probably has some scraps of fine thin leather and the tools to attach it to your seat. You may even get to change the colour of the seat at the same time and everyone will ask "hey, where'd you get the forest green Aliante?" and you can smile and tell them "it's custom."
