I did a search here in reference to corrosion to all-aluminum cannondale frames to see what constituted such serious corrosion that it would be unwise to ride. I found nothing.

Here is my question, I have a 1989 R600. I prezteled the back wheel years ago and never rebuilt it. The bike has been in storage for a long time. Recently I rebuilt the wheel and changed out the cables to get it back on the road and everything looks like it once did except for some bubbles in the paint on the bottom of the bottom bracket and a little on the bottom of the down tube connecting the bottom bracket. I scraped the paint off with my nail and found white powder (corrosion). I didn't detect any cracks. There's not much corrosion but is it or will it become a problem? Thanks.
