103 miles. Gravel. 7 hours. Great event. Hard hard day of riding. Enough said.
Saw lots of pot-hole-ejected-bottles. Saw a broken chain. Saw lots of tired faces.

(ok, the long version, the weather was nice the day of. But Spring around here has been wet and snowy. So most folks are around half the miles of last year. Not much fresh graded gravel. Most of it was in one stretch around mile 45-50. 950 folks at the start line this year, it's gotten big. Finished it and looked forward to putting the gravel bike away for a couple months...and did not consider doing it again next year. But today, yea, I'll probably send in my post card for next year. Still cannot conceive of 162 miles. Not that early in the year. And the long course? I think that would be a blast. In September. Over 3 days.)

A friend did the Alexander (right about 390 miles in 2 days) and many people I ride with did the 100. I intended to, but ended up doing another ride instead. You should post the river crossing video, it looked fairly dangerous :)
