I just got my AM Classic Sprint 350s and I'm trying to put my tires on. But, it seems like the rim is too big in diameter - I can't get the bead of my Continental 3000s over the lip of the rim. I finally got one on, but it took 15 minutes and my thumbs are still killing me. I sure hope I didn't bend the rim without even riding them yet! I've had zero problems getting these same tires on my Mavic Kyseriums, nor any of the countless mountain bike rims I've had.

Is it me or is something wrong here?

Mountain bikes and road bikes have different diameter wheels.:D

Seriously, there are a bunch of posts below about this same problem.

Instead of trying to lift the bead, grab or push the tire itself and thereby pulling it over the lip of the rim.
