I was working 10-10 on my birthday, last Tuesday, so I gave myself a nice present and got up early to take the really long way to work. I stopped to play at the confluence of the NW and NE branches of the Anacostia until the sun was over the trees, then put the camera away. Happy birthday to me.

Walrus: There was some mist coming off the water that dissipated about 6 feet over the water. Didn't really show up in the pics, though.
