Oh ya, Friday we rode home from Gettysburg. That means that we are gonna need to get back there somehow to pick up the car. :blush2:

What do you say we ride back on Saturday? :idea:

I'll confess that it would have been a long slog up the Frederick Valley if Fridays tailwinds had turned into Saturdays headwinds.

Ha, the winds had died down (just as forecast) and the riding was good.

I will admit that we stopped a couple of times to eat. Nothing like riding a couple of centuries back to back to build up the ol' appetite!

Still, Saturdays ride to Gettysburg seemed a lot quicker than Fridays ride to DC.

Turned out that we cut an hour and a half off our riding time! :thumbsup:

DQ must have been the carrot keeping us going! :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

The plan was to spend the night in Gettysburg, relax and eat a fine meal then get up bright and early Sunday to watch the sunrise over the battlefield.

It worked out!
