Just in case any of you did not see it. Adriano Malori announced his retirement from the sport on the Tour rest day as part of Movistar's regular press conference. He suffered the horrific crash a year and a half ago at the race in Argentina and suffered a brain injury. He tried a few races at the end of last season and the beginning of this season but cannot handle racing anymore. He say he can ride leisurely. He said he has started learning sports science and will be working in the sports science part of cycling going forward. It is sad he is forced to retire, but I am also glad he will be able to live a normal live and enjoy time with his family and friends. Good luck in your future endeavors Adriano.
