About two weeks ago I posted about pulling my right calf during tennis. I didn't think too much about it and went through the R.I.C.E. and stretching that you all advised. It worked out fine. No pain or limitation in movement. Calf feels like a million bucks now... BUT... now my left calf is pulled. I don't remember an event that would have caused this other than the strain of favoring this leg on rides.

My question is .... could this be due to improper fit? I have about 1500 miles on a new Madone (came from a 5500) , so are pulled/sore calves indicative of a too tall/short saddle?

thanks

Might be too tall a saddle. That makes you push with your calves at the bottom of the stroke, especially on hills when you slide to the back of the saddle.

Also, stretch your calves. If you go to the gym, do calf raises to strenghten them.
