I know this is the wrong forum for good news but a superficial look at this years TT results against 2008 on the same course showed a winning time about 1 minute or 2 1/2% slower. This year only one rider was eliminated and I think 8 were last time. All the riders claimed 2008 was ridiculously hard and whilst 2010 hasn't been soft the stage was run in warm dry near perfect conditions.
I know this prooves nothing, and the truth probably lies between "the odd bad apple" and "they are all doing it" but maybe the testing is reducing the extremes of cheating and making all involved more carefull. Not victory for the testers but maybe more young men will live long enough to regret their actions without doing permanent harm to themselves.
