I don't get links with them, only the red double-underlined random words. And it isn't in every post or every thread, either. I haven't changed my settings in the last hour, nor have I even closed firefox, but they just appeared out of nowhere....

I use Firefox for my internet browser. Adblock is one of the Firefox features. They call it an "ad-on".

Are you using FF? It's the way to go.
