The area Specialized dealer is right around the corner from work. So I looked hard at the 05 and 06 LTD but ended up going with a Trek 7700FX from another bike shop. I like some of the tweaks that they have added to the 06 LTD. But there is still a huge difference in price between the Specialized and the Trek. Comparing and riding all, I couldn't see that the LTD is worth the difference. I got the 05 Trek on a year end sale that pushed the price difference even further, and then put some of that back into the specific upgrades that would be worth the extra money to me.
