Not much action in the southwest region forum. I am moving to Peoria, AZ (near happy valley and 67th ave) in two weeks. Anybody in that region? Any ride, group or LBS recommendations?

Hey, over in Phoenix here myself, the group I go with meets pretty close to Peoria at Exhale bikes (2814 W. Bell Road Ste. 1475) right off I-17. I've been going with them for a few months now and highly recommend them, moderate size of 10-15, cool people, and fairly fast at 20-21 averages. They meet on Saturdays at 6:00am in the parking lot in front of the store.

Edit: The name of the group I ride with is Bullshifters, http://www.bullshifters.org/. What's nice about these guys is they only do the same ride a handful of times each year, there's about 30 different routes they alternate each week, http://www.bullshifters.org/upcoming.html

I live at 67th Ave and Unionhills. There is a crit style training ride ever Tuesday night at 7:00 at Swiss American bike shop at 43rd Ave and Bell Rd. CCV at the corner of 67th and Happy Valley has a road group and a mtb group. Check out ccvonline.com and look under the edge ministries.

Thanks for the replies. I will check out bullshifters and CCV. I am from AZ, but have been gone for the past 10 yrs. Looking forward to leaving the humidity of TX.
