I just bought a Surly Steamroller, complete model. It comes with a 48 tooth chainring and a 19 tooth cog. When I have the bike in a stand and turn the crank, each chain link seems to stick to the cog just long enough to pull the chain down a millimeter or so, and then release it. It's not an issue of chain lubrication. I suspect that the teeth on the cog are too tall and this is snagging the chain, pulling the chain down.

Anyone have a similar problem and/or a solution?
