I'm building a new 'cross bike and shopping for the parts. What is verdict on running ultra-light latex tubes like those from Vittoria? I'd be using them with Kenda Kwicks on Shimano R500 wheels. Should I use them, or run butyl tubes?

Also, has anyone used the titanium ISIS bottom bracket from KCNC? Any thougts?

I always choose durability over light weight. I can't see saving a few grams is worth having to run a 1/2 lap do to a fragile tube failing.

i used to run latex tubes in my mtb back in the 90s because of their pinch flat resistance. haven't tried them since though. maybe i should give them a try. just have to pump them up a bit more often...
