I found this at an estate sale for $10. It's sorta beat up, and I'm debating between making it fixed or just keeping it a 10-speed. From what I can tell, it's a Peugeot, but this only becuase I read that they put 'Champion du Monde' on a bunch of their bikes and it has Lyotard pedals. Anyway, any help would be appreciated. Oh, and sorry for the crappy pictures.
That's the only stamped number I could find on the bike, other than...
...a faint '61'.
The text reads, "Speacial Tour de France".
Looks like hand-detailed lugs.
Not the usual round pattern I've seen while looking at Peugeots.
And the teaser: I just painted the frame of my '61 Schwinn Traveler.
