poughkeepsie / hyde park?

I'm in poughkeepsie, wrapping up jr. year at Marist. Only here for about another week then gone for the summer but back next year in august. I usually throw my bike in the car and head out to hyde falls or park in the dutches county BOCES lot and ride as many of my miles in farm country as i can. Know of any good rides right around poughkeepsie?

i'm moving up to the CIA in three weeks and was just wanting to see what people thought of the area. i've never been.. but i here it's wonderful and appears to be prime for riding. i'll be auto-less, so the bike(s) will be my only mode of transportation.

do you know if there's a trail along the hudson? or anything like that?
