The top of my Argon 18 Krypton XS (2011) steerer tube cracked and looking to replace the fork. See pic of KR-36 fork. LBS said it is a 1 1/4 size and could not find a replacement (eg, Whiskey, etc). Recommended contacting Argon dealer. Having trouble finding an Argon KR-36 fork to fit on the XS frame. Does anyone know if there are non-Argon forks out there that would fit and are combatable? Have been checking Ebay and CL alot but no luck. Or other places to search for a replacement fork?🥽

1 1/4" tapered from 1 1/8" is not a common standard. Most tapered forks are 1 1/2". But there are several brands that use that taper as well. I would definitely check ebay & look for forks from Cervelo, Giant & Scott aside from contacting Argon.

Enve makes a really nice fork that would work. I have this fork on a Cannondale SuperSix HiMod. Very nice!
